Job Title: Malware Reverse Engineer II
Location: Remote, Greece
Salary: €60,000 to €90,000 per year

We are looking for an experienced Malware Reverse Engineer to analyze, dissect, and understand malicious software. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of malware behavior, reverse engineering techniques, and cybersecurity principles. You will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating advanced malware threats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and reverse-engineer various types of malware to understand their behavior, functionality, and impact.
  • Perform both static and dynamic analysis to dissect malware and uncover hidden features.
  • Develop and utilize custom tools and scripts to aid in malware analysis and reverse engineering.
  • Document findings and create detailed reports on malware characteristics, behavior, and potential impact.
  • Stay current with emerging malware trends, techniques, and tools to enhance analysis capabilities.

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in malware reverse engineering and analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in reverse engineering tools and techniques (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDbg).
  • Deep understanding of assembly language and low-level programming.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat analysis, and incident response.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation and tool development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with exploit development and understanding of common vulnerabilities and exploits.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and encryption mechanisms used in malware.
  • Experience mentoring junior analysts and leading technical investigations.
  • Published research on reverse engineering malware strains.
